EXHIBITION OPENED IN THE CITY MUSEUM IN VRSAC „THE BRILLIANCE OF RUSSIAN PAINTERS“
The City Museum in Vrsac, in cooperation with Vladimir Peshich, a collector and expert in the field of art, organized an exhibition entitled „The Brilliance of Russian painters“. The exhibition talks about the unification of two nations, Serbian and Russian, especially in the field of art and education, and the way it was perpetuated on the canvas throughout history.
Banat embraced the Russians and they left a special mark here, as experts say, at every step on the way and in every sphere of life. Works by Russian painters that are part of Vladimir Peshich’s private collection are exhibited here, and the first planned exhibition is not by chance organized in Vrsac. Representatives of the Russian Embassy of the Russian Federation in Serbia and the Russian House — Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Belgrade, as well as numerous guests from the city of Vrsac, attended the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition was opened on behalf of the mayor Dragana Mitrovich by Miroslav Lepir, a member of the City Council for Education.
